If I Were In Charge Of The World

If I were in charge of the world there wouldn't be world wars or any wars whatsoever

If  were in charge of the world there would be MORE laws

If I were in charge of the world you wouldn't have to do stuff you don't want to

If I were in charge of the world "Elderly" would be a third gender

If I were in charge of the world everything would be so much better

Bullying ... Why? And Is It Really What We Think?

Stopping the Bullying Cycle

So... why do people bully? Is it because they're nasty people? And is it only kids? Or maybe it something that can happen to any person, at any age. The point of this post is to make you're wheels spin a bit.

What it's really about is being unkind and hurting other people. But, what most don't consider is most bullies hurt because they are hurting. Sometimes because they've went through something hard and painful  ... sometimes that hard and painful thing is constant. Maybe they just need time to cool off from something, and won't always take their stress out on other people.

STOP BEING A JERK!!
Stress happens to all of us. We all have times we get mad and nasty. Kids and adults alike. So think... are you being a bully? Maybe? Yes? No? If you know that you are bullying someone then STOP. No matter what you're going through, being mean to others fix it. This goes for grown-ups too.

Then there's people who feel awkward and pick on others to make themselves look cool. It's never funny to pick on others, and it'll come back to bite you. It's hurtful, mean and, cruel. Take a minute, put yourself in the other person's place. Imagine you can feel their feelings.

I've been bullied. It was solved and I am no longer bullied. Lucky for me a teacher saw what was happening and she stopped it from happening. If your being bullied then you need to tell someone and not let it get to you. And it never hurts to stand up for yourself.

One time when I was still being bullied, my friends and I decided we were fed up. The bully and his friends were coming over to "beat us up" we twisted that plot by showing no fear, telling them to stop being ridiculous and going to tell a teacher. The look of shock on their faces when everyone took our side and we went to the teachers with a WHOLE BUNCH of witnesses was priceless.

Bringing me to my last point ... if you see someone being bullied, take a stand with and for them. Start a movement. Other people will start doing the same. So whenever someone is being bullied or some one is being mean .... you or another person seeing it will stop the cycle. And besides all the above tips ... you can always just yell at them in German. :D

My Scary Story ... "Girls Get Lost In Woods In Manomet Looking For Bigfoot"

Ok so you are reading this probably thinking "ok, so... who are these girls?" Ok well that's classified but I was one of them... me and my friend, Grace.

So you might be my classmates or teacher or... someone who read my newspaper article ... or maybe just an average person but this is MY story ... So here it goes ...

We went into the woods looking for bigfoot on a trail behind Grace's house. I tagged along, thinking, "Ok, well she said she knows the way," and so I went along with it, not realizing we were about to become massively lost.

So I thought that her mom was right behind us because she HAD said, "I'll be RIGHT behind you." Turns out, she wasn't "right" behind us. ... no one's fault, these things happen (and "these things" also happen to get kids grounded for 2 weeks *ah-hem* clears throat -_- ) So anyways, I digress. Upon hearing strange noises, we stumbled onto a road and started walking down it. I heard a fox, it sounded sad. There was nothing around, anywhere in sight. By this time, we're getting nervous. No parents, no houses ... just woods and weird noises in late afternoon. We were officially LOST.

Then, look! Civilization! There was a small building. But there was no one there and the building... if you touched it... you'd get electrocuted . so we continued down the road and found a half eaten box of cheese-its. Grace said "Hey! If we need food we can eat that!" Everything she said, sounded sad and mopey ... I was getting irritated. I said no to her and kept walking. I saw a white shed off the side of the road. It was a farm! But there was an electric fence and I had to lift her up so that she wouldn't get electrocuted...yeah.. she didn't understand that. So finally we got saved by a... UPS girl and she called the police. We waited on a porch for an hour while the cops were getting there but they came and we got home safely in a police car. Yes, thank you to the Plymouth Police for saving us. If you can call returning home to angry parental figures safe ... *ah-hem* clears throat ... GROUNDED people. Grounded.

We did find Bigfoot poop! And I have Facebook likes! Mission not a total bust. :-)

Hello My Name Is... And Welcome To My Blog!!

Hi! Glad you're here. :3
This is me!

You might be wondering "Hey? What's this blog?" Well... I'll tell you! My name is Rayven and I am making a blog because a few months ago I got inspired. And inspiration is food for the soul. Hopefully, through this, I can feed yours too. I'm a kid from Plymouth, MA. America's hometown. And on this blog, I'll be talking about everything that I feel like!

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to everybody! Here is a piece of advice ... Everyday you may think stuff like ... Does my family love me ... or ... do I spend enough time with my family? Well Thanksgiving is the PERFECT time to spend with your family and shelf those thoughts. Start fresh now, and make every day about loving life and the people you're around.

So my "hello" to you is combined with some important advice. See, this is the PERFECT time to spend with family and friends. Enjoy the Thanksgiving Feast! Have fun! And be grateful! It is a time to spend relaxing, enjoying that fresh air, and remembering another important life lesson ... That no matter what, there might not be a Prince Charming when you need him (or her -- Princess Charming) but even someone you've only known for a while can still save you if you're in need. And even someone you don't know well, you can help by giving them kindness and love... any "true" love is "strong" love.
